Municipalities

Tools for municipal operations and an open town hall.

A municipality does two things over and over: deliver something to every letterbox, and publish something. We build tools that handle both without paper lists and without PDFs nobody can search.

What we cover

From the field to publication

Rounds and field checks

  • A municipality split into districts of roughly equal size
  • Deliverers sign in with one QR code, no passwords
  • Works with no signal, and leaves proof of delivery

Property checks

  • Routine rounds of lamps, bins and playgrounds
  • Your own form fields for whatever you track
  • The history of every object in one place

Openness and data

  • Resolutions split into items, with votes and amounts
  • Local elections and council composition
  • Every figure linked back to its source document

Registers and integration

  • Address points from the RÚIAN register
  • Election data from the CZSO and the public-authority register
  • Import your own data from CSV and GeoJSON

Municipalities

DobráData.cz

Open data on Czech municipalities — council decisions, local elections and the people sitting on the councils, all in one place.

The starting point
Minutes and resolutions sit on municipal websites as PDFs, Word documents or scanned pages. Finding what was decided about a particular street, plot or company means going through dozens of files by hand.
What Webstrong built
The service crawls municipal websites on a schedule, extracts the text from minutes and attachments, and splits it into individual items — what was discussed, how the vote went and how much money was involved. Election data comes from the Czech Statistical Office and mayors from the public-authority register. Every municipality gets its own page, and every item keeps a link to the original document.
  • Resolutions split into individual items, with votes and amounts
  • Local elections since 1990 — candidate lists, results and council composition
  • Councillor profiles: how often they stood and how often they were elected
  • Search decisions by street, plot, company or project

Municipalities

Pochůzka

Leaflet rounds and field checks you can actually track — districts divide themselves and the map shows what is done.

The starting point
Delivering a newsletter or ballot papers is run off a list of streets on paper. When a complaint arrives that nothing reached a particular letterbox, there is nothing to show who went where.
What Webstrong built
The app pulls a whole municipality's addresses from the RÚIAN register, proposes districts of roughly equal size and keeps streets together. Deliverers sign in with a single QR code — nothing to install, no passwords to invent — mark a house with one tap, and entries wait on the phone until there is a signal. The dispatcher follows progress on the map, and a closed round remains as the record.
  • Address points for a whole municipality from the RÚIAN register, or your own CSV and GeoJSON
  • Districts proposed automatically, then redrawn by hand if needed
  • Deliverers sign in with one QR code — no passwords, nothing to install
  • Works with no signal — entries send as soon as there is a connection
